PowerEPOS Minimum Requirements

Before your onboarding session you will need to download and install the PowerEPOS installer and TeamViewer on all devices including front-of-house POS devices (POS terminals, tablets etc.) and back-office operations devices (laptop, desktop, etc.).

PowerEPOS System Requirements:

Internet	Internet connection and registration is necessary for required software activation, validation of subscriptions, and access to online services.
Network Connection	Wi-Fi or ethernet connections are supported.

Hardware:

- Triniteq is unable to support the kicking of cash drawers through all terminals. If automatic cash drawer kicking is not available through your POS terminal printers, alternate kickers may need to be used. Triniteq provides support for printers distributed through Triniteq which are all Epson and Element printer models.
- Other printer brands and models may work but we can not guarantee optimum performance and some features may be limited. Support for printer brands and models not distributed through Triniteq is limited, and while we can attempt to resolve possible issues between PowerEPOS and other printer brands and models, it must be noted that this might not always be resolvable.
- Support for, and servicing of, hardware not supplied through Triniteq is limited.
- Not all MSR readers, barcode scanners or RFID readers (POS peripherals) will be compatible with PowerEPOS. Connecting peripherals will be addressed on a case by case basis.

External IT Company or Contractor:

Do you have an IT company or contractor who looks after your day to day IT requirements? If so, it’s a good idea to let them know you are installing PowerEPOS and have their contact details handy during the onboarding session in case we need to contact them.
